Contest Entry for A Contest for YOUR Favorite Song!

This one is for the song, "The Theft" by Atreyu

Ok, I did this picture on the first begining verses.

Ok, I know the flowers aren't 'black' but, they would have been pretty boring if it was black.

And There's a fire in front of him, as well as in the Back Ground.
The butterflies burst out of them, like the lyrics say.

And the reason the flowers are coming out of his mouth, is because of the line "He Exhales a thousand black flowers" And making them come out of his mouth seems like the best way to show that part of the song.



This picture, in a way, represents the song very well, in my mind. And I am VERY VERY VERY VERY proud of this piece. I've NEVER worked so hard on a picture that it made my hand hurt and lock up. And the fact that I used Correl Painter, in which, I am an newb to it. I've only used it twice, this would be my second time. And if you look at my other contest entry for Rainbows, you'll see the difference, oh yeah.


But, anyway. I've worked on this for...3 hours (12AM-3AM July 13th, 09) at the most, non stop. With out a food or potty break. So, I'm going to leave you off there, so I can eat and go friggin pee!
